Elizabeth Olsen was one of the most buzzed-about rising actresses at the Sundance Film Festival last week. Not only did her two films Martha Marcy May Marlene and The Silent House receive good reviews, she’s also a style star in the making, thanks largely to her older twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley. “I get their opinion when it comes to clothes,” the 21-year-old actress told us, wearing a sample jacket and leather leggings by her sisters’ label The Row paired with a Marni top (pictured). “Seriously, I wear [my snow boots] when I’m walking just from the subway, and I’ll go see them and they’ll say ‘What boots are you wearing? Maybe we need to get you some different boots.’ And then when you see them, they’re out in the snow in some 7-inch platforms.” Click through the gallery to see more photos of Elizabeth Olsen’s style.

Hairstyles at last night’s SAG Awards ranged from sexy shaken-out waves like Lea Micheleto a teased, oversize bun like Jennifer Lawrence. And we got the inside scoop on their looks, thanks to celebrity hairstylist Mark Townsend. “Lea put her dress on, and I immediately saw a very modern ’70s diva,” he told us. “I gave her a big, full blowout with a small round brush for as much volume as possible.” As for Lawrence, he created a look that was young, fun and modern. “I wanted there to be tons of texture inside the bun, but I wanted it to be smooth,” Townsend said. The Glee ladies shined on the SAG Awards red carpet. Most of the cast’s leading ladies chose light colors, like Lea Michele in a sparkly dress by Oscar de la Renta, Heather Morris in a blush chiffon Romona Keveza gown and Jayma Mays in a peach Jenny Packham dress that featured a beaded sleeve. Meanwhile, Amber Riley and Dianna Agron both chose dark hues; Riley in a black Anne Barge mermaid gown and Agron in a navy tea-length Chanel couture look. “I’ve never felt girlier!” said Agron, pictured. Macy’s is getting into the designer collaboration game. Just like you see designer capsule collections pop up at H&M and Target, now Macy’s is launching its own designer lines, kicking off its first February 15th with Kinder Aggugini (inset), an Italian designer who has worked with John Galliano, Donatella Versace and Vivienne Westwood. (FYI: Karl Lagerfeld is also planning a collection for Macy’s later this year!). “When I design, I hear music, very much like a soundtrack in a movie,” Aggugini told us this week at a preview for his Macy’s collection, which ranges from $38 to $298 (dress shown is $78). “I design in my head—I have a full visual imagination of the garment I’m about to make. And this collection is pure rock and roll.” That means floral dresses, backless rompers and plenty of Aggugini’s signature polka dots. Click through the gallery for a preview of the collection.
New Kmart designerSofia Vergara joined Rachel Zoe, Cat Deeley, Julie Benz and more at a dinner toasting women in television presented by Elle magazine in Los Angeles last night. A pregnant Zoe showed off her baby bump in a black draped gown, while Vergara wore a tight strapless sheath that highlighted her curves. “The good thing is that because I’m Latin, I think I’m expected to be a little bit more plump and voluptuous,” Vergara said of her signature sexy look. “I think they want me with a little bit of meat.” Both ladies wore Ports 1961, as the Fiona Cibani-designed label sponsored the dinner.
