The Glee ladies shined on the SAG Awards red carpet. Most of the cast’s leading ladies chose light colors, like Lea Michele in a sparkly dress by Oscar de la Renta, Heather Morris in a blush chiffon Romona Keveza gown and Jayma Mays in a peach Jenny Packham dress that featured a beaded sleeve. Meanwhile, Amber Riley and Dianna Agron both chose dark hues; Riley in a black Anne Barge mermaid gown and Agron in a navy tea-length Chanel couture look. “I’ve never felt girlier!” said Agron, pictured. Rent the Runway announced it would launch a bridesmaids’ dress rental service this month, and a new flash sale bridal site named The Aisle New York (like a Gilt.com and RueLaLa.com), just launched this week. Already the site offers gowns, veils, shoes and jewelry, including dresses by Lhuillier (dress shown is $2,899, down from $4,840) and Angel Sanchez, plus Oscar de la Renta accessories, and a percentage of each sale goes to charity. Sure you can’t try anything on (though you can make returns for a fee), but it’s definitely a new way to approach saying yes to a dress. Tell us: Would you rent or buy your wedding gown?

Getting a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame is huge. Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest actress to join the exclusive group, which also includes Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz and Kyra Sedgwick, among others. So it’s only fitting that these stylish women would show up to the ceremony in perfect ensembles. Gwyneth opted for a lace Monique Lhuillier dress, Reese wore Dolce & Gabbana polka dots, Cameron chose white lace Oscar de la Renta, and Kyra Sedgwick went with a voluminous orange frock. They all look so ladylike-chic!

Katy Perrywore a strapless gold Georges Chakra dress to the Grammy Nominations Concert Live, Olivia Wilde wowed at the Hollywood premiere of TRON: Legacy in a liquid gold Emilio Pucci gown, Anne Hathaway attended the Love and Other Drugs Sydney premiere in this Oscar De La Renta gold sequin minidress, and Shakira wore a gold, one-shoulder number to the Bambi Awards. If you want to try this festive look yourself, take a cue from these stars and keep your accessories to a minimum.
