Parker plays working mom Kate Reddy for the film, and we’re pleased to see her character is getting a chic wardrobe. We last spotted the actress on set toting the Mulberry Alexa Satchel (inset), a style we love for its rich color and high functionality. Check out the gallery for more of our favorite camel-colored bags.

Last night, the Black Swan star (and February cover girl!) wore a halter-style Vena Cava sheath to the premiere of her latest film, No Strings Attached, and she recently wore a Vionnet dress with studded collar and cuffs to the Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala and a Jason Wu silk chiffon tiered dress at the People’s Choice Awards. As Portman’s pregnancy progresses—and she gears up to walk the Golden Globes red carpet this Sunday—she has plenty of well-dressed celebrity moms to take style cues from. Check out the best dressed pregnant celebrities in the gallery. Tell us: What are your favorite maternity looks?

The designer (inset), who is known for her swimwear, sleeping bag coats and goddess dresses (as seen here on Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City 2), told the crowd at the FashInvest’s Capital Conference last week in New York that she is working on a lower-price collection that will be exclusive to her Web site. Kamali, who already launched the successful NK for Walmart lower-priced line in 2008 (which she wore to the event), told InStyle exclusively, “The [new] collection is for those on a low budget and women who are simply smart shoppers with great style, who know how to mix high and low.” While Kamali is still in the early stages of creating the line and getting investors, it’s never too early to get excited for a lower-price designer collection—we can’t wait!

Britain’s top designers were honored yesterday in London for the annual British Fashion Awards, including footwear designer Nicholas Kirkwood (center) who was named Accessory Designer of the Year. The designer, who is known for his architecturally-inspired shoes, got his start working with Kate Middleton’s favorite hat maker Philip Treacy. Kirkwood’s eponymous line garnered attention last spring when shoe-fanatic Sarah Jessica Parker wore his suede platform shoes (shown far left) three times in one week! His other celebrity fans include Claudia Schiffer (center, right) and Jessica Alba, shown above in a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood sandals. Other BFA winners include Phoebe Philo of Celine for Designer of the Year, Mulberry for Designer Brand, Burberry for Digital Innovation Award, Naomi Campbell for the Special Recognition Award and resounding new it-girl Alexa Chung for British Style. The late designer Alexander McQueen was also honored with the award for Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Design—watch the moving tribute video directed by photographer Nick Knight after the jump.
