The ladies of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsknow how to pile on the jewelry. And—surprise—not all of their dazzling stunners are real. The shimmering emerald drop earrings that Kyle Richards made famous on the show are actually imitation emeralds, designed by Kenneth Jay Lane, an interpretation of the Lorraine Schwartz earrings Angelina Jolie wore to the Oscars in 2009. While Jolie’s were real—worth an estimated $2.5 million—Richards’ were purchased for $125 at the Jennifer Miller Jewelry store. “It takes a lady of style like Kyle and my wonderful clients to be confident enough to mix fine with faux jewelry,” Miller told us, adding that Kim Richards bought the earrings for her sister. Kelly Ripa, an admittedly huge fan of the Beverly Hills housewives, Tweeted earlier this week that Kyle Richards gave her a pair, too. Do you remember seeing Angelina Jolie dabbing her lips with gloss during the Golden Globes? The camera caught her doing touch-ups a few times, and in turn, we wondered what product she was using to make her kisser so glossy and shiny. Now we know! Jolie picked Chantecaille’s Brilliant Gloss in the soft pink color named Love. The gloss—clearly one of Jolie’s favorites—is available for $28 on NeimanMarcus.com.
Shades of green paraded down the Golden Globes red carpet, making it one of the top trends of the evening. “I feel green looks great on many different people, it truly illuminates who you are,” stylist Estee Stanley—who dressed Mad Men‘s Elisabeth Moss in a hunter green gown by Donna Karan—told InStyle exclusively. “Last year, there were few jewel tones. So this year they came back with a vengeance.” Indeed they did: Catherine Zeta-Jones wore a strapless forest green Monique Lhuillierdress; Mila Kunis chose an emerald one-shoulder Vera Wang look; and Angelina Jolie shined a long-sleeved glittering green Versacegown encrusted with Swarovski crystals. How do you like to wear green? Tell us in the comments!

While it’ll be the first time at the Globes for some nominees—Jennifer Lawrence (nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama for Winter’s Bone) and Mila Kunis (Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for Black Swan)—many have been to the Globes before, like Anne Hathaway, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams and Nicole Kidman, so we can’t wait to see what they will wear to the big event on January 16th. In the meantime, check out their previous Golden Globes gowns in the gallery.

Jolie’s new collection is even more exclusive: She’s collaborating with former Asprey CEO Rober Procop on a line that will be sold privately. Pieces include a 353-carat beryl pendant and a 12-carat emerald ring. All the proceeds from the sale—like the Protector Asprey line—will benefit Jolie’s charity, the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. Procop recently worked on Jolie’s new film, The Tourist, to design and source pieces her character wears, including the vintage diamond choker shown at left.

One of the hottest pairs, the Elise pumps (at left) are named after Jolie’s character in the film and will soon be available as a limited-edition collection. The metal-heeled stilettos will come in black, beige, and powder-pink leather and suede and will be sold at select Ferragamo stores around the same time the movie opens on December 10th.
